The Girl Skateboards Artdump is a bubbling hive of raw creativity in the heart of the South Bay, where artists and designers come together to design skateboards and skateboard paraphernalia.  They came together at Walled City to display both their individual works, a series of limited edition prints and an eight foot high, twenty-eight foot long wheatpaste mural on plywood.  The artists on this project include Andy Jenkins (graphic artist/tinkerer), Bob Kronbauer (photographer/ cridler), Andy Mueller (photographer/ graphic designer), Eric Anthony (photographer/wood worker), Rob Abeyta Jr. (graphic designer/painter), Tony Larson (graphic designer/painter) and Evan Hecox (illustrator/graphic designer).  This motley crew of established and up and coming artists has previously shown independently and together in Holland, Japan, New York and a slew of other locations.

The purpose of the exhibition was to promote and create awareness for the San Pedro Skatepark Association's Channel Street Skatepark Project.  Four limited edition prints, by Rob Abeyta, Andy Jenkins, Andy Mueller and Tony Larson, as well as a t-shirt designed by Tony were on display and for sale, as well as the fine art works and the large collective mural.

About the Mural:
For seven days, and seven nights, the Girl Artdump collaborated, using mountains of printed materials, pencils, photographs, paint, inks, varnishes, sandpaper and whatever else was available at hand to craft a lasting and powerful display to their artistic talents.  The final mural measured 28' x 8' and covered an entire wall of the gallery.
